PowerShell to change the computer name

I'm new to PowerShell and I'm looking for help creating a script to change the computer name. What I would like to do is grab the serial number which is 15 characters long use the last 10 of the serial number and add a prefix of MMC so the computer name would be similar to MMC0019287364.
