scheduling a powershell task

I'm running windows 10 Pro.  I've setup a task to run as administrator once a day.  The

task runs.  But never ends.  I've put in trace code.  The script runs to the end and appears to hang.  My trace output only gets written when I force the task to end.  Then the trace code shows that the script did what it was supposed to do.

Why won't it exit.
