add computer account permission to a shared folder

Hi gurus

  as you can tell for my posted , I am very new and still learning PS, so go easy on me.

  I have a shared folder that I would like to add a computer account(computerName$) , so it can have full access to it, the gui takes forever as it has to add permission to each file on the folder/folder/folder, I hope that with PS this process of propagating would be faster.

can some help we with a script or point me to the right direction.
