Exchange Online is one of the primary motivators for companies moving to Office 365. The Exchange Admin Console is very easy to use and offers a lot of the functionality you’ll need when managing Exchange Online however there are some things you just can’t do in the GUI. For those tasks and to make large scale changes the best way is to connect to Exchange Online with Remote PowerShell. Thankfully this is very easy and doesn’t even require any prerequisite software (if you’re running Windows 8 or later or Windows Server 2012 or later).
