Hey community 
New to the whole powershell use. Found a reason to learn it at work and dug in trying to address a real world issue. Found a script that looked applicable, made some tweaks, saved it and fired it off. And got nada.
So, it appears this won't be one thing I can just hop in and start modifying scripts completely correct. Figured I'd stop by here and get some direction on where to start learning Powershell. It looks pretty powerful and could probably help a lot with my day to day administrative work on my LAN I support.
I was trying to modify a script that would allow me to recursively check the ACL of a shared drive I've mapped to. My predecessors created a lot of security groups for this share, but didn't document what they were associated with. Didn't want to have to right click my week away checking each folder.
