I am pretty novice at linux, but I have been watching youtube videos about Puppetlabs and I like what I see. I see there is lots of companies using it and lots of documentation out there for learning.
I am probably intermediate level with powershell and I like what I see with DSC. But it seems very new and there isn't as much documentation and help available.
I have about 200 or so windows 2008 servers and 25 Wiindows 2012 and about 10 linux machines.
Just trying to get some opinions on if I should go learn Puppetlabs or just focus on DSC and let someone else worry about the couple linux machines? =)
All server builds are of 3 basic types. Web server, SQL server, or Telco server. We use Teamcity for builds and a homebrew deployment system nobody really knows how it works anymore..
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
